Feed silos MPS

Description

Feed silos are designed for storing cereal meal, dry feed compound (granulated and bulk) and cereal grains, oilseeds and maize. MPS silos are cylinder barrel with conical hopper, its cover is made of galvanized plate, the roof is self-supporting with an universal inlet.

Conical hopper, made of galvanized plate, allows to empty the silo gravitationally. For this purpose, an outlet hole is made in the bottom. The silo is equipped with a loading pipe with a connection and a vent pipe. Pipes are used for pneumatic loading of feed from transportation vehicles. Central or universal loading inlet with a flap allows loading by means of screw conveyors, spiral conveyors, scraper conveyors etc.   Bottom outlet is used for gravitational unloading  the silos. In standard option silos are equipped with side manholes, which are used for operations such as cleaning tasks when the barrel is empty. Silos, as an extra option, can be equipped with a special shutter closing the bottom hopper or with a ladder.
